Castle Menzies workshop - Aberfeldy Film Festival 2010
These excellent short films were made in just a few hours at Castle Menzies as part of the Aberfeldy Film festival 2010.




Bog Bugz and the Moss Monsterz
An epic film about the biodiversity of Blawhorn Moss. Blackridge Primary School made this amazing film about their local nature reserve in just 3 days!

Tinga Tinga workshop - Africa in Motion 2010
All these films were made in just 3 hrs!! Tinga Tinga Tales is a children's series made by Tiger Aspect and Homeboys in Kenya. Tinga Tinga Tales is inspired by traditional animal stories from Africa and the Tingatinga art of Tanzania. See below for competition winners.

Kickstart workshop - Cumbernauld 2010

Each of these short animations were made in 10 minutes or less during a day of workshops for North Lanarkshire high schools.




Screenplay Film Festival - Scalloway Junior High school workshop
This guide to making films was animated by just 6 pupils at Scalloway Junior High school in only a day! Well done class!




Screenplay Film Festival - Adult workshop

Quite a variety of work for just one day. We have some great model animation (plasticine and armature), drawn animation (pen and charcoal), cut-out animation, silhouette and also sand on glass. Well done team and thanks for being fun students.

 

Screenplay Film Festival - Bell's Brae Primary School, Lerwick, Shetland
Hard to believe all these films were made in just a few hours. The class had just the theme of going to the cinema and came up with their own sketches with their own characters and backgrounds. Nice one P7's.


Fringe by the Sea Festival - North Berwick
Ah harrrr me hearties! North Berwick is under attack!! The sea around here is a dangerous place, look at the kind of beasts coming onto the beach. These films were made in the morning and afternoon workshops of the Fringe by the Sea festival in August 2010.


A Picture of Good Health - Woodlands special school - Edinburgh
This animation is about being healthy. The stage is set for a showdown between 3 acts. Who will win? The entire film was designed and made by S1 and S2 pupils at Woodlands School in Edinburgh.

All these models and the animation were made in only 2½ hrs in July 2010.

Teenage Environmental Problems
This epic film was made by pupils at Bucksburn Academy, Aberdeen. It's about local environmental issues faced by teenagers in a typical town. It's so huge we had to split it in two parts.

Edinburgh International Film Festival - 26th June 2010
These films are so totally 3D, and all models made and animated in just a few hours!! Well done animators.




Glenrothes 12th April - 2d AND Model
These are the brilliant characters and films made at 2 short animation workshops in Rothes Halls in April. The first ones are the 2D films followed by the Model films. Hope you like them.....who said animation takes a long time?!!




Lennoxtown Initiative - 7th-8th April 2010
Here are all the smashing films made in the morning and afternoon workshops on the 7th and 8th of April 2010. Films were made at Lennoxtown Initiative. Well done animators!




Easter Friday workshop - Edinburgh
All these brilliant animations were made in just a few hours (even the models!!) They were made in Edinburgh at Out of the Blue in the Easter holiday 2010.




NDCS Animation - 13th February 2010
All these funny films were made by children aged 7-16 at the National Deaf Childrens Society workshop in Edinburgh in February. Well done everyone!!  





Animation Against Prejudice - Dunbar Grammar School 2010
This film was made in just 2 days by 11 pupils at Dunbar Grammar School in east Lothian. The film is about prejudice and is to be screened at the Brunton Theatre as part of the Holocaust Memorial Day.
