Edinburgh prizewinners animations - 29th October

Lucky enough to win a prize, these budding animators also made some great films. This workshop was at Out of the Blue in Edinburgh on the 29th October.

Kickstart 2011 animations - Cumbernauld theatre - 4th October

Each of these miniature animations were made by pupils from North lanarkshire high schools in just 15 minutes. Hardly any of the 50 or 60 pupils had animated anything before. Fast learners!

"Out of the blue" Model animation - 24th September
Brillian model animations made in just a few hours in Edinburgh on saturday 24th September. Still picking out the plasticine from your fingernails??

2D Summer Animation - Filmhouse Edinburgh (Am and PM)
These great 2D films were made by young animators at the Filmhouse cinema in Edinburgh on the 1st August 2011. The morning and afternoon workshops are both here.





Granny Mac's Meringues - by Burntisland Primary school
It's the royal wedding and the Queen needs a new hat. Join her majesty as she meets the inhabitants of Highland Island and the great meringue mix up begins!

This huge film was made by 3 classes of P3/4 pupils at Burntisland primary school in Fife. This film was funded by First Light Films. www.firstlightonline.co.uk

Political Voices - Sccottish parliament 2011
All these short films were made in under 2 hrs. Well done to all that came along. The morning workshop is first, followed by the afternoon ones.

XL3 Classes - 7 school film
This huge cartoon was made by XL3 classes in North Lanarkshire in 2011. The schools involved were Chryston High, Coltness High, Our Lady's High, Cumbernauld High, Coatbridge High, St Aidans High and Bellshill High. Good job team.....world saved!!
